Five Months

Milestones galore! Eliza is 5 months old today. It's hard to believe. She is trying really hard to sit up these days and when we sit her up, she does pretty good. Although we've had plenty of face plants. I think her two bottom teeth are starting to peek through. This would explain the sleep regression we've been experiencing (two hour stretches at night...max), her new desire to gnaw on everything, and her cute little fake (sounding) cough (apparently the extra saliva produced while teething can often result in a fake sounding cough as they try to clear it from their throat). Despite her (our) lack of sleep these days, she's still the happiest girl! She likes experimenting with new sounds and still loves when Mom and Dad act silly...such a giggler.
