The Morrison Memoirs: 8 months

I know I say this every month, but how is Eliza already 8 months old?!? It feels like it was only yesterday when we first arrived home with our tiny little Nugget. Now here she is 8 months old with so much personality! It's crazy.

Over the past few weeks, we've really seen Eliza starting to develop some opinions. It often has to do with whether she wants her binkie in her mouth and can result in her full on chucking the binkie across the room!!

She is still crawling all over the place and very curious (we do A LOT of moving and re-directing). She loves to pull herself up to stand. Her favorite spot is our bed's headboard. Now that she stands, it's a little more difficult with her bed still in our room. There have been quite a few morning where I roll over and Eliza is peering at me over the side of her pack n play...or jumping up and down like she's on a trampoline. She's always so happy in the morning (sometimes the early morning), so it's hard to feel anything but complete happiness at this sight (ok and perhaps a bit of exhaustion too).

She is so playful. She gets the biggest kick out of giving me her binkie to put in MY mouth.

She loves to be tickled. She cracks up when Mom or Dad acts silly. She loves checking herself out in the mirror. Has a bit of a biting habit. Gives kisses (smacks her lips making the most hilar face). Wakes up about every 2 hrs at night (can I say exhausting). Still has only two little bottom teeth. So far her fave food appears to be green beans. Can shove about 5 puffs in her mouth at once (all but one usually fall out). She is always so happy and easy going (aside from those binkie chucking incidents. Haha). We are so thankful for such a perfect little lady. Now, here are the pics!
